Is it today already?!?
I can’t believe:
- it is already 2008!
- it is already June 27th…2008!
- that Giovanna is going into first grade and that Arianna will be in Pre-K soon– yikes!
It seems like only yesterday that my babies were, well, babies! Now they are little girls and I worry that if I stop and blink, they will be teens.
I found this photo last night. It was taken two years ago around Christmas. Giovanna had a gray tooth in the front from falling at preschool and Arianna had no bangs because Giovanna had cut them.
Oh, how fast they grow…
‘A’ is for Avery
Meet Avery. She is a sweetie, a princess, a pre-schooler and now, a big sister to Trace.
While mom was feeding Trace, we snuck outside for a our own private appointment. She was a very willing participant. At once point I asked Avery where she had learned to pose so nicely. “At school!” she exlaimed. Of course– I should have known that!
Wild about Trace
Trace was 8 weeks old the day I met him. Isn’t he scrumptious?!? He let his mom and me do all kinds of creative moves on him and he didn’t even cry. Yes, he fell asleep on me a few times and pee’d on me twice but it was all so worth it.
Trace has a big sister, Avery. She is a princess…and she likes to pose. More on her tomorrow!
The Last Day of School

I was asked to photograph a good-bye party for Mrs. James who had just retired from Prince of Peace. I did not personally know her but it only took a few minutes to feel the genuine compassion for her students and to see that she was loved by many. Such a sweet and remarkable woman.
Swim Lessons 2008!
Swim lessons started this week and Giovanna and Arianna are doing great! They absolutely love to swim and both instructors told me that they are well advanced for their age groups. Giovanna is going to join the swim team next year. I think she will do fine– we have been practicing in our pool and, not only is she FAST, but very competitive!
