Over the river and through the woods…

…actually it was several rivers, many hills and six states.

We are here in bone-chillin’ cold western PA. The girls had a great day playing outside in the little bit of snow that is left over from a few days ago. The forecast for tomorrow? Cold and more snow~! Stay tuned for more photos this week.

Paul, Jennifer, Emme and Kennedy

Another wonderful family that I get to photograph. I feel so incredibly blessed with the nicest people that are referred to me through other great customers. (Thanks Kimberly!)

Don’t they look great? I wanted to squeeze Emme and Kennedy’s cheeks, they are so cute!

(Jennifer is my teacher/coach/nutritionist/morale booster/muscle builder/all around motivator each morning at 5:30am at Livewire Fitness. I am learning to love exercise and I am also learning that healthy eating and good nutrition isn’t all that hard to follow. It can taste pretty good, too!  Thanks Jennifer, you will never know how grateful I am to you.)

Holiday Options

I am excited to announce my new holiday purchasing options. Unlike some photographers who make you buy their Christmas cards (and you may only have a few designs to choose from) I realize that there are so many options. Many of my customers like to add a 4×6 inside their cards, others like to use photo insert  cards and still others like to create online photo cards using a digital file.

I am happy to say that I just stick to taking the photos and I’ll let you decide how to use them in cards! Here is the three options that I think will benefit all of your tastes!

Purchase a single digital file of photo:

·         $200 for single jpg file

·         After a print purchase of $200, digital file is $50

·         Over $235 in prints, file is complimentary

Own the CD:

·         Choose up to 8 of your favorite images from your online gallery.  You then own the CD and reproductions rights, giving you the freedom to copy and print at your convenience.

·         $365   **this offer not valid on collages and storyboards.

Bulk prints (3.5×5 or 4×6) photos to place on or inside a pre-made card

·         Pricing

            1 – 50 prints – $2.00 each

            51 – 125 prints – $1.50 each

126 – 199 prints – $1.25 each

200 and over – $.75 each

Dean, Renea, Keaton and Kaden

What a super nice family! I really had a blast with them. The boys were so well-behaved and so incredibly sweet to each other. It was almost too easy! Thanks, guys.

Jeff, Tammy, Grant and Charlotte

We had a fun afternoon in the woods. Grant was very serious about his smile. I could tell he had practiced. Charlotte is so adorable and at the age where she just wants to do her own thing… and that is perfectly OK! I love photos where the personalties shine through, don’t you?

Tyrone, Angela, Mark and Faith

This was a fun appointment. Mom and Dad were so laid back and had fun with the children… and you can see that in the photos. Dad is a very accomplished praise and worship leader with an incredible voice. To learn more about Tyrone click here.

Get Energized, Get Wired!

logo

I try not to use the word hate in my home. When I do slip, my daughters gasp while shaking their finger at me and tell me it is a a very bad word. That being said I have always hated working out. I have a trunk load of excuses as to why it is just not a good fit for me. A few weeks ago we had a guest speaker at our MOPS group. Jennifer from LiveWire Fitness spoke to us on the importance of exercise and a healthy diet and lifestyle. It peaked my interest and I took some notes but never followed through by looking at her wesbite or contacting her. After all, I hate exercise and I was sure it was only for those who were already in great shape. Two weeks later I received an email from my friend Kimberly who was raving about this class she has taken and it is starting back up in a few weeks. She invited me to come check it out. It was Powerhouse at LiveWire. I told her I knew of the program and I would think about it. Again, I did nothing.  Two weeks later I had a photo shoot with a nice family and we started talking about weight management and exercise and they started talking about a class they like– you guessed it Powerhouse at LiveWire! They said I should give it a try. I told them I was very busy and that it just wasn’t in my budget– it had to be expensive! Again, you guessed it, I didn’t even visit the website to find out more. Two days later I received an email from Jennifer. Amy, my customer, had told her I might be interested in her program. She invited me to come visit her class the next morning at 5:30am. Powerhouse was staring back for another four week session and I had to decide by the next morning. The pressure was heavy! The days and times worked with my schedule. (I am never busy 5:30 – 6:30am) and the class was very affordable. I was running out of excuses! Could this be what I need to jump start my life and get me on a healthier path of living??

In one word– YES!  I am two weeks into my four week Powerhouse session. Everyone works at their own level and we all encourage one another to push ourselves in a very safe environment. Every workout is different and, I can’t believe I am typing this but…it is FUN! My diet has improved, my body is feeling better, my energy level has been raised and my clothes are…well, you’ll just have to visit me and see for yourself!

I encourage everyone to visit Jennifer’s site–LiveWire Fitness getting up so early takes some getting used to but it is only for four weeks and it’s so nice to start the day with exercise and know that it is behind you for the day.  Only one shower, too! If you are nervous, like I was, come visit a class some morning next week.

Let’s get Wired together!
